The S4 line travels to Sihltal and the S10 line to Uetliberg.
Sihltalbahn and Uetlibergbahn
Sihltalbahn S4
The Sihltalbahn S4 runs between Zurich main station and Sihlwald, and services a route length of 14.46 kilometres. The power supply is provided by the SBB (Sihlbrugg substation, 15 kV/16.7 Hz).
Uetlibergbahn S10
The Uetlibergbahn S10 runs between Zurich main station and Uetliberg. As one of the steepest standard-gauge adhesion railways in Europe (up to 79‰), it services a route length of 10.36 kilometres. In summer 2022, the Uetlibergbahn was converted to use alternating current (15 kV/16.7 Hz).
